But if you want to eat free and teeming with lanzones (and other fruits like Durian), visit Kidapawan City during its annual Fruit Festival (August or September).

  6. You are killing me!!!! This is the only fruit that is not found here in the US, fresh (although there are rumors that sometimes they are found in Vietnamese stores - may nakita nga ako doon, pero frozen). Man ... I could just taste it on my tongue.

  7. @k.fields-- Lanzones are sweet and juicy. You should visit Philippines to have a taste of lanzones and other fruits as well.
    @fly high-- Hmm, do they have rambutan in the US? I'm sure you've missed a lot here in the Philippines. :)

    There are many places in the Philippines where you can purchase seedless lanzones. But there are dozens of them in Mindanao.
