Banaue Rice Terraces (in Tagalog: Hagdan-Hagdang Palayan ng Banaue) is located in Luzon, specifically in Apayao, Benguet. It is also known as the Eighth Wonder of the World.
The Banaue Rice Terraces begin at the base of the mountain going up to thousands of feet high. If you place the terraces end to end, then they would seem as if they enfold half of the globe.
Furthermore, the Banaue Rice Terraces depict on how skillful and creative the people of Ifugaos 2000 years ago. No wonder the UNESCO included it in the Heritage List as a Continuing Cultural Landscape.
