That was the first time I used eBay to purchase online. Unfortunately, I had to face Speed Bump Error when I was about to pay. The said error says: Sorry, you've hit a speed bump! To continue checkout, please try again. But nothing happened when I tried it twice.
So, I googled the error and this is what I found:

I have encountered this Speed Bump thing today in paying via Paypal. Guess what! Ive searched solutions from other countries and I tried this one which worked! It's not a problem with the seller but with Paypal in our country. Then I was able to pay my seller even if i contacted him.
1. Go to http://www.ebay.com (US)
2. Sign in as usual
3. Go to My Won
4. Use checkout and pay as usual(you will need to log in at Paypal)
4. After ebay.com says Thank you for your payment, click view your order details. Payment will be confirmed and an email will be sent to you at your email address.
5. Forward this email message to the seller (just in case he does not receive it, but I'm sure he will coz Paypal will mail him too.)
6. Problem resolved!
I hope this helps. It helped me!
Yes, it did help me. I was able to pay for the item. After a day, I received a confirmation that the seller has received my payment. It took another day before I got a reply from the seller.
Last Monday, Yahoo! greeted me with news about the death of Brittany Murphy. It came as a surprise considering that I just had a rerun of Clueless the night before. Her laughter in that movie still lingers in my memory.
May you rest in peace Brittany Murphy.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.
Most of the time, online auctions will have a winner and a loser. The winner will get the item while the loser will go home without the desired item. This is the typical type of online auction. However, if you want to find a different kind of online auction, then Bidazzled Entertainment Auctions is just the right place for you and me.
In Bidazzled Entertainment Auctions, you will save 80% off the retail price, if you will be declared as the winner. The company will offer you to purchase the item back for cash, cash and bids or bids.
But if you do not win, you can still obtain up to 50 bonus bids. This is the management's way of saying thank you for participating. As mentioned earlier, nobody loses in this type of auction.
Last month, Bidazzled Entertainment Acutions just had two winners for Nintendo Wii's using only their 5 free bids.
Apart from offering savings to their members, Bidazzled is also funding a lung cancer charity, specifically the Ruch Foundation (www.ruchfoundation.com). In other words, you are not only aiming for your desired item but you are also helping those individuals who have lung cancer. Now, that's the kind of auction you need these holidays.
So, if you want to bid and help lung cancer patients, you may use this code—BBP1202A—to get additional 15 bids (apart from the 5 free bids you earn) during registration.
I am planning to buy a portable computer after Apple exhibited tantrum a week ago that resulted in work delay. Because of my limited budget, I have to look for a cheap but reliable portable computer. My friend suggested going for a netbook since my main purpose is to have a backup machine in case something will happen to Apple.
However, netbooks are like Internet domains--the one I like is not available. For instance, I like the Asus Eee PC 1101HA but this model is not available here in Davao City. Then, I'm wishing for Lenovo S10-2 2Gb memory, but no computer shop has this type of spec.
Since the price of a faster netbook is somewhat closed to the price of a cheaper notebook, another friend suggested to go for a notebook instead of a 10-inch portable computer. As you can see, the Asus Eee Pc 1005HA with 2Gb memory and pre-installed Windows 7 starter costs PHP 24k+ (around $510). With that amount, I can already purchase an Intel Dual Core Compaq Presario or Emachines (product of Acer).
But then again, the specs of those notebooks are not to my liking.
Now, my friends with technical expertise advise me to just stretch my budget so I can purchase the kind of portable computer that I want.
If I would heed their advice, I might as well buy an Intel Pentium Dual Core HP Compaq notebook in a 12.1-inch display. It has a 3GB memory and a 320 GB hard disk at a price of PHP 32k+ (around $700) available at Silicon Valley and Digital Interface, NCCC Mall.
Or I'll just wait until my sister can buy a system unit so I could use my father's laptop, which is currently in her possession.
Truly, it is difficult to acquire expensive thing when you have limited resources. Sigh.

Water walking ball is the reason my nephew, Borgy, did not want to leave Davao City. He tried it once at MTS and he wanted to go back the following day. Well, I could not blame him. I think walking or floating on water without getting wet is, far and away, amusing.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Eye-Fi. All opinions are 100% mine.
After my cousin's wedding last weekend, I still have not browsed those photos I took. Why? The pictures are not yet uploaded in my computer. Why? The USB cable is not available and I could not find my card reader. Now, how am I able to edit those photos and deliver them to my cousin as part of a wedding gift? Is there a way to upload photos without the use of USB cable or card reader? Or how about a method to transfer photos from my camera to my computer, wirelessly?
Fortunately, I just learned about how to make my camera wireless with the use of Eye-Fi memory card. As the term implies, it is a Wi-Fi enabled SD card. This means that I can transfer all the pictures from my camera to my computer without USB cable or card reader. It is, truly, the easiest way to get all the photos in my camera. Plus, it would allow me to have all those photos taken a few months ago but are still in my digital camera.
Another advantage of Eye-Fi memory card is that it comes in a 4Gb memory and it has a feature that automatically organizes photos by date. Now, that's useful.
I am watching this video-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7CnHCCVSEE&feature=player_profilepage --to learn more about how the products works. You too can join me in getting to know more of this useful device. Oh, by the way, Eye-Fi memory card needs a SDHC capable camera and wireless router to be functional.
I just found out that Reader's Digest has given me a different kind of birthday gift. Yes, little things give me enjoyment. That's why when I read my comment and name (full name) on the Interact department of Reader's Digest, my smile wouldn't die away while reading the rest of the articles featured in November 2009 issue of the widely-read magazine in Asia.
I know that this is considered non-essential, but it is essential for me. Not everyone has the chance for their comments or thoughts to be put into print in one of the most respectable magazines in the world—Reader's Digest.
This is not actually the first time that my comment was publicized in RD Asia/Philippines. I submitted four comments and one photo for Unseen Asia. Out of four, three of them were featured and one was not so lucky. Unfortunately, my entry for Unseen Asia, which was taken using D40x, did not make it. If it did, I would have a Xacti camera now. Hehe…
Your comments may also be published by going to rdasia.com/comments. And if you want to receive $100, you may want to submit original jokes, anecdotes and fillers to RD. And if you want higher payment ($350), then compose an article for My Story (unpublished personal stories) column.
As for me, RD did not give me any royalty but I receive a truly different kind of gift for my birthday. I think that's more than enough.

Everybody wants to set out into something prolific. Because of that, my brother and I have contrived to put up a food cart business here in Davao City. The only hindrance is the location. Mall spaces are too costly while affordable spaces are taken.
Prices for commercial spaces may range from PHP 15,000 to PHP 50,000. Plus, most of them require three-month deposit. Huhu…
But we're not ready to give up. I know that we could still discover a perfect place for our food cart business here in Davao City—a place where there is foot traffic. I'm not sure when and where, though. Sigh… Can you help me out?

Watch out Madonna. Susan Boyle's version of You'll See is way better than yours. She has put more soul to it, especially in this part: "You think that I can never laugh again, you'll see." I'm sure Susan is laughing her way after her album I Dreamed A Dream has been considered one of the fastest-selling albums of the decade.
If you listen to Susan Boyle's I Dreamed A Dream, you will never think that she's a 40-something lady.
But do not try to play Susan Boyle's I Dreamed A Dream while driving as it encourages sleep.
Songs in this album include:
Wild Horses
I Dreamed A Dream
Cry Me A River
How Great Thou Art
You'll See
Daydream Believer
Up To The Mountain
Amazing Grace
Who Was I Born To Be
Proud
The End Of The World Silent Night
