Why They Are Successful With Adsense And Why I Failed? – And Goodbye Michael Jackson

I have probably read a lot of articles about how to become successful with Google Adsense. I think I have implemented some on my two blogs, but it's still difficult to reach the minimum payout of $100 (PHP 4,000+).

According to expert bloggers, there are no instant tricks to become successful in using Google Adsense. But there are things I can do to enhance my participation with Google Adsense. They added that a blog should be search engine optimized. Hmmm, I probably failed on this part. Furthermore, they also recommended to work on the backlinks and increase Google PageRank (okay but I cannot control these). It is also important to create a site or a blog that will talk about blogging, computers, Internet and Google Adsense. The target readers should be people who do not know anything about the above mentioned topics. Sheesh.

They also advised to choose a group of keywords to make it as marketing words. It is also imperative, as they say, to write unique content relevant to the group of keywords. Plus, place the Google Adsense code on the top right corner of your blog/site or place it where it is visible for the readers, they further added.

But a friend told me not to worry about it since blogging is just my pastime… true. So I'll just continue writing stuff about a variety of topics that I like until Google Adsense is ready to send me my payout.

Also, I still cannot believe the news that I have read/heard this morning—Michael Jackson died. It just doesn’t feel real.

Amidst the controversies and scandals before his death, he will still be remembered as the person who started moonwalking and crotch-grabbing as part of dance moves. He visited the Philippines in the late '90s. Thanks for this song MJ, one of my favorites… Gone Too Soon.

  1. Hi Jane,
Just wanted to let you know that it is possible to make money with Adsense but it takes time. I made my first $100 last year and that was within six months or so of being online. You have to have people visiting your blog and clicking on the ads. It's not easy by any means, but possible! Michael Jackson will always be an icon to the music and dance business and he will be remembered I think for all eternity on this earth. Thanks for this post and thanks for visiting my blog.

  2. I can honestly say that it's tough to earn from Adsense but maybe you just need more time to learn. I have only just began scratching the surface too. The experience of receiving your first payment can be surreal!
